Selected work · Three different challenges

Ideas made.Ideas working.

A commercial Christmas campaign, a specialist learning film and an international product launch. Different audiences and formats—each shaped around a clear idea.

Affinity Outlet Shopping · Christmas 2021–2024

Four seasons.
One distinctive world.

A colourful 3D Santa’s workshop turned the practical question shoppers ask—“which brands are there?”—into a memorable Christmas advertising idea.

A campaign designed to evolve

The core world stayed recognisable while lighting, materials, branding and seasonal details were refreshed each year. Versions for Affinity Devon, Affinity Staffordshire and Sterling Mills used bespoke palettes to feel local without losing campaign consistency.

Footfall increased in 2021Despite the continuing impact of Covid. Customers also mentioned the advert directly in Trustpilot reviews—rare evidence of genuine recall.

Siobhan Maclean · Bones of Social Work

Complex ideas.
Made tangible.

A six-minute educational animation transformed theory, model, method and approach into a tactile board-game world for social-work professionals and students.

Built to support understanding

Every texture, prop and piece of box artwork was hand-drawn. Head, heart and hands became part of a physical visual system, helping viewers see how different concepts connect without reducing the subject to a conventional explainer.

84%+ audience retentionAcross a six-minute film, with nearly 13,000 organic views. The animation has subsequently been selected as listed learning material by universities in the UK and internationally.

GP Batteries · ReCyko+ Pro

Give the product
a little character.

A silent 3D robot—designed around the battery charger itself—gave a technical rechargeable product warmth, charm and an instantly recognisable campaign asset.

A character with room to travel

Robert Llewellyn narrated the hero advert, bringing a natural connection to technology and sustainability. The campaign expanded into a 60-second Christmas story, short social films, Eastern European adaptations and outdoor work for Hong Kong buses.

The useful bit is the range

Not one house style.
One standard of thinking.

The format follows the problem: thirty seconds or six minutes, local retail or international consumer brand, one film or a campaign designed to keep evolving.
